The University of Crete Language Instructors are pleased to invite you to the International Language for Specific Purposes Conference in Heraklion, Crete, held on February 7th and 8th, 2009 at the premises of the University of Crete, in Heraklion. This conference will provide an opportunity for language teachers to share experiences and contribute their expertise to their counterparts in Europe. It will allow us to establish a network between L.S.P. practitioners working in Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges or Vocational Schools. We encourage authors to submit papers pertaining to the scope of the conference, describing original work, reporting research results and/or indicating future directions. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference by one of the authors and published in the proceedings. Acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality. Informacijska družba - IS 2008 Šesta konferenca JEZIKOVNE TEHNOLOGIJE IS-LTC 2008 15. - 17. oktobra 2008, Ljubljana V sklopu meta-konference Informacijska družba - IS 2008, ki bo potekala od 13. do 17. oktobra 2008 na Institutu "Jožef Stefan" v Ljubljani vabi Slovensko društvo za jezikovne tehnologije na konferenco o jezikovnih tehnologijah. To srečanje je šesto v vrsti konferenc o jezikovnih tehnologijah ('98, '00, '02, '04, '06) in organizirano kot mednarodna konferenca z mednarodnim programskim odborom. Uradna jezika konferenca sta slovenski in angleški. Konferenca bo potekala v dveh delih: v prvem bodo predstavljeni prispevki v angleščini, v drugem pa v slovenščini. CILC-09 7-9 May, 2009, University of Murcia CILC-09 is the first event of a conference series launched by AELINCO, the Spanish Association of Corpus Linguistics (the registration of the association is being processed). The conference will be held from Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th May 2009 in the premises of Campus La Merced, University of Murcia, Spain.
